Unboxing the Realme 9, a brand-new 2022 affordable smartphone with a hands-on review of the camera, gaming capabilities, and more. The Realme 9 is a strong competitor for the Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 and others at this price point, and it also comes with 5G - keep tuned for a comparative comparison, which should be available shortly.
The 108MP rear camera is a good everyday shooter, only failing when you move inside and into more challenging lighting conditions. You'll have to keep an eye on the focus, and there's no image stabilization for 1080p video.
Nonetheless, the Realme 9's Snapdragon 680 allows for mild gaming. Call of Duty, PubG, and other memory-intensive games are fine, but Genshin and other memory-intensive games should be avoided.
For the price, the battery life is among the greatest, allowing for all-day play. With a smooth desert dune type finish, the Realme 9's design is also one of my favorites for 2022!
