Unboxing the OnePlus 10 Pro 5G (Global Version), a premium smartphone to rival the Oppo Find X5 Pro, Xiaomi 12 etc with Hasselblad camera tech, impressive gaming smarts etc. My full review of the OnePlus 10 Pro is coming soon but here's my early impressions, plus camera samples, Genshin Impact action and a close look at OxygenOS 12.1.

Powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC, this flagship phone boasts strong gaming performance. That's helped along by the dedicated gamer tools and cooling tech, which keeps the OnePlus 10 Pro from burning up under pressure.

The primary camera sensor hasn't changed at all from the 9 Pro, but you now have extra shooting options including 10-bit photo capture. I'll be fully reviewing the optics so stay tuned for that one - although the Oppo Find X5 Pro and Xiaomi 12 Pro are likely to be better in low light etc.

As usual you have a gorgeous AMOLED screen, stereo speakers and OxygenOS 12.1. All in all a solid package, if not as strong value as the Realme GT2 series.
