V-Moda BoomPro Microphone for GAMING - Review (turn HEADPHONES into a Gaming HEADSET!)

Welcome back to TYC this is the doc coming back with a review of a product that is certainly niche. This is the Vmoda boompro / boommic pro, and essentially what it does is it replaces your speaker cable for your headphones, however the geniuses at v-moda decided to put a boom mic in the cable and when you plug it into your headphones, voila! you now have a gaming headset, except with the awesome audio quality of your headphones.

It seemed that every forum I went to people were recommending the SHP9500s as one of the best value for money headphones around, upon purchasing them and trying them out for myself, I quickly came to this conclusion as well.

However I found that people were stating these to be as good as the Philips Fidelio X1s, and honestly they are not quite up to par vs the fidelio X1s, and there are a few other problems that I found with these headphones, mainly the insane sweat production / absortion as well.

The sound itself however is really good and I think people will appreciate these headphones, especially if coupling them with something like a vmoda boompro, for me however I am still going to be rocking my Fidelio L1s, which I consider the balance kings (though they are a little more expensive).

I am doing the review of this product from the microphone itself to let you guys know how it sounds, after making the video I thought it was damn impressive microphone, with an Asus soundcard it would sound better imo (the creative's amp on the ADC isn't as good as the Asus's soundcard).
