Canon EOS R3 review: Innovative eye control focus and speed, for a price

With autofocus enabled, Canon's EOS R3 can shoot bursts at up to 30 frames per second, making it perfect for sports and action photography. However, because the resolution is only 24 megapixels, it isn't as good for animal or landscape photography as Sony's A1 or R5. It's a great video camera, with 6K at up to 60 frames per second in Canon's RAW LTE mode and 4K at 120 frames per second in Canon's 4K mode. Canon's Dual Pixel focusing system is superb, with 8 stops of vibration reduction, a flip-out LCD, and even autofocus that detects your eyes. The $6,000 price tag is the biggest deterrent for the typical buyer, thus it's mainly geared at experts as a replacement for the 1DX Mark III DSLR.
