AMD have touted in 2017 that they are releasing a technology known as high bandwith cache control, which is a controller enabled on Vega Cards, it is supposed to allow you use different sources of memory for less important things, so the highspeed HBM2 can be used for the most important parts of the game. However today I test this out and realistically the results differ from the spec sheet quite substantially.
