When I got the Steelseries Kana v1 and v2. in a few months ago I noticed straight away how it didn't perform as well as my logitech g3 and g400 (both scrolling and input). However when making the review I needed more evidence, and thus bought a 1000fps camera at Christmas, though only finally getting around to testing it now, I can see that the Logitech gaming mice are a grade above the Steelseries Kana. The steel series kana is still ahead of a standard mouse, but so it should be with such a steep price tag.

As for the Sensei and other steelseries Mice, I do not know as I have not tested them, but the Kana is simply not as good as the Logitech counter parts. So hopefully this answers the question of "what is the best mice/mouse for gaming?"

All testing was done at 60hz and I would like to revisit this in the future with a 144hz panel and more mice (especially razer and zowie).

Another interesting thing to note and a question I have wondered my self was "does the logitech gaming software add input lag?" And the answer is yes and no, if you are using the software side based program to adjust your mouse settings then yes, by average about 10ms, however if using the new school logitech mice (like the g302 for example), then the answer is no (hence why logitech probably implemented this).
