In comparison to the costly Pro variant, the Xiaomi 12 smartphone (global edition) offers superior battery life and a more compact form factor. For almost a week, I've been using the Xiaomi 12 as my personal phone, testing out the camera technology and playing a bunch of games. Here's my final word on one of 2022's best - or at least my favorite - Android blowers.

Although the camera technology has been reduced in comparison to the Pro, great tracking and HDR performance may still be expected. The Oppo Find X5 Pro's IMX766 sensor is decent enough, and it's certainly good enough for the Xiaomi 12, though Oppo's phone is better in low light.
Gaming on Genshin Impact and PubG is a seamless experience because to this beefcake's unwavering commitment to performance. The superb cooling technology helps a lot. In the meanwhile, the Xiaomi 12 has the best battery life of the bunch.
Wrap it all up in a sleek compact chassis with a sharp and punchy AMOLED screen, acceptable stereo speaker arrangement, and MiUI 13 UI. In a nutshell, that's how this phone works. By no means flawless, but one of the smartphones I've enjoyed the most in 2022.
