Lisa Gade reviews the high end yet affordable Xiaomi Mi Notebook Air 13, a 13.3” Windows 10 Ultrabook with a unibody aluminum design, NVIDIA 940MX 1GB GDDR5 dedicated graphics, Sharp IGZO 1920 x 1080 display and Intel Core i5 and i7 processors. The 14.8mm Xiaomi Notebook Air 13 looks a bit like the 13” MacBook Pro until you open the lid to reveal the backlit silver keyboard rather than Apple’s usual black keyboard. Build quality is excellent, the specs are fantastic for the price, and the only caveat is that it’s not sold directly in the US, and you must get it through importers like GearBest.

The 2.86 lb. /1.29 kg laptop has 8GB DDR4 RAM, a 256GB PCIe NVMe SSD, Intel 8260 WiFi with Bluetooth 4.1, 1MP webcam, HDMI, two USB 3.0 ports and a USB-C port.We look at the Intel 6th gen Core i5 model, and the 7th gen Kaby Lake refresh should be available in late July 2017 (it has the same design).
