The XYZprinting Nobel 1.0 ($1,499) is atypical for a 3D printer at its price. It eschews plastic filament in favor of photosensitive resin and ultraviolet lasers, bringing its stereolithography technique's exquisite print quality within the price range of a wide audience. It does so masterfully, printing without a misprint and adding some convenience and performance features as well.
