The Apple Watch Series 8 for 2022 sticks with the same design as the last gen model, while adding crash detection and a temperature sensor. It’s available in 41mm and 45mm sizes in your choice of aluminum and stainless steel. As ever, there’s a GPS model with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth and a cellular model with 4G LTE. This iOS compatible smartwatch ships with watchOS 9. We’ll review the Apple Watch Ultra, the new rugged 49mm model separately.
