When Creative sent this over to us as a review sample I was immediately knew I was in for a treat. It came boxed well and included a very detailed instruction manual and all accessories to boot.

I started to then test the unit and I noticed that the TOSlink Optical in port did sound a lot better than the USB to deliver sound, so after testing it with some sweeps I then found that the TOSLink was indeed objectively posting better results, I also found some coloration in the treble region (or upper mids however you want to refer to it :p). This will be ok for dark headphones but on treble heavy headphones it will bring it out of proportions.

The included software and drivers are very good, simple and easy to use, a big improvement over previous generations.

Overall this product is very versatile as well and can work with a number of different devices, a PS4 and Xbox One being included.

Lastly I will say with low crosstalk / a great mic and line in port and a decent design, this is a product that I can recommend easily, though it is pricey and does have a MSRP of $199 USD.
