Here is the review of the Creative X7 and Accompanying speaker set the EM-U XM7, which are a 2.0 speaker set that will be able to pump out some decent beats from the X7. The X7 though really took the cake for me as it was not just a quality USB DAC/AMP/ADC Combo, but it was also a speaker amp as well as having a LOADS of features onboard the unit (NFC / Bluetooth / Creative software suite, that works really well). Also the unit is packed with good hardware as well and features a 127 DB SNR DAC and has nichicon caps loaded throughout. Audiophiles will also be pleased to note that this unit has the option to exchange op amps if you wish to change up your sound.

The XM7s however were clear and crisp, however I found them lacking a bit of bass (since they did not have a dedicated sub woofer), and they were very large units (I don't know how they are going to fit on my desk).
