Crysis 2 Demo on hardcore settings in Full HD!
* Little review of mine:
I would like to mention that this was my very first battle in Crysis 2, I didn't even knew it was multiplayer... I was hoping on a little bit single player for the demo but unfortunatly, it is multiplayer! But no worries, it was fun!
As expected, Crysis 2 is indeed less spectacular than the first one/Warhead, and the specifications are less demanding than we actually expected. BUT! I still think in my honest opinion that they made the best out of what they could with Crysis 2 for the theme they choose (New York city). The graphics are actually very correct in terms of a city, and anyway I would have been bored if it was again another tropical paradise, the story has to change! Keep in mind that Crytek never intended to import Crysis to the console in the first place, so people playing consoles can be very happy! Think about it before giving any unfair commentaries. Also, I don't think that they could make the graphics better for the PS3 because PS3 cannot run everything at highest options, it's not a super-machine. But that's just me. I can understand for the PC that most of the Crysis fans expected something even more spectacular for the graphics aspect, but really, it's the story that matters, and not the graphics... You cannot make a City as beautiful as a tropical paradise. I think it's not comparable... So bear with how it is now, and I'm sure almost everyone will secretly like Crysis 2 no matter how it turns out to be... At last I want to say that they greatly improved the performance, and I'm most happy about that! I'm very happy with their decision to choose performance over graphics. At least everyone can play it now (everyone = Console and PC). The CryEngine alone is a great engine, and what they make with it is just truly wonderful! I hope the commentaries will be more positive in the future :)! Have fun watching!
