Lisa Gade reviews the 2017 HP Spectre x360 Windows 10 Ultrabook/Convertible with a 15.6” 4K display, NVIDIA 940MX dedicated graphics, and the 2.7 GHz Intel 7th generation Kaby Lake dual core i7-7500U CPU. Interested in the newer version? That review is here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oKbn8CdGR98 .

The 4.4 lb. (2 kg) 2-in-1 is one of the few big screen laptops with 360 degree hinges and an active digitizer pen in the box (N-Trig like Microsoft Surface Pro 4 and Surface Book). The laptop has a lovely unibody aluminum design finished in dark ash silver with contrasting copper-gold accents.

The $1,499 configuration (currently the only config) is well appointed with the Core i7, 16 GB DDR4 RAM, a very fast 512 gig PCIe NVME Samsung SSD, Intel 8265AC WiFi, Windows Hello IR camera, 4K IPS display and NVIDIA 940MX switchable via NVIDIA Optimus with Intel HD 620 graphics. It has a 79 Wh battery and a 90 watt charger.
