The biggest news item of the week was, unexpectedly, the NVIDIA RTX 3000-series leaks. We've seen a lot of coverage of these, but wanted to focus on the manufacturing angle and our thoughts of how prototype coolers are made. We'll also be talking about Sony's PS5 announcements and design, with a particular interest in its thermals, and the never-ending release of GTA V. Further, Intel & AMD Hades Canyon (Kaby Lake-G) support is in the news, as are SLS side-channel attacks on Armv8-A chips. TSMC's 4nm process, rarely discussed, gets some coverage alongside its 5nm and 3nm nodes. All that and more in hardware news this week. Timestamps below and in the video.
