Hardware news is busy: NVIDIA has official RTX 3000 information, Seasonic has leaked the 12-pin specs, TSMC is talking about its plans for a post-silicon world, Corsair does $1B, & more.

Hardware news has a lot to think about this week. One of the most interesting stories, we think, is the one from TSMC. The fab is looking to move to 5nm and 3nm in the near-ish future, but is starting to experiment with materials that aren't silicon for its future chips. That's still a ways off, but it's worth becoming familiar with the topic now. At some point, we're probably going to run into manufacturing limits with silicon. Additionally, Cryorig may finally be shipping a cooler it showed at Computex several years ago (probably the R5 -- we'll see), Corsair apparently has done $1B in revenue and is seeking an IPO, and ASUS is teasing... keyboard switches on the day of the NVIDIA announcement, which tells us that they probably really want to show video cards, but aren't allowed to say that's what they're showing.
