AMD's latest Ryzen 7 3800XT and Ryzen 9 3900XT chips have hit the wild, (there is also the 3600XT too but that didn't come through). These two CPUs don't include the (quite impressive) Wraith Prism RGB top down cooler.... However one thing they do provide is higher clock speeds, infact these are a 'optimized' 7nm chip (basically binned) and thus offer higher out of the box speeds (single core chip speeds are very impressive), and solid overclocks. Though with 3700X, 3800X and 3900X prices already being very good, are either of these new chips worth the premium? Let's find out with gaming, producitivty benchmarks, power consumption, overclocking and temperature tests.
