Metro 2033 is an action-oriented video game with a combination of survival horror and first-person shooter elements. The game is based on the novel Metro 2033 by Russian author Dmitry Glukhovsky. I find this game to be a truly frightening game and sometimes can really 'scare the shit out' of you if you don't watch your step. The levels are mainly surrounded by a dark atmosphere as you are figthing mutants deep underground in the metro tunnels. The sounds in the environment are very scary and always make most mutant ambushes and anomalies unexpected. The game is actually one of the more difficult games in general, even on easy, that I have played. Mutants are strong, varient and always need other tactical uses to defeat. Also, the AI in this game has been finished til the end and I never encountered any bugs alongside the game. This is clearly a fenomenal shooter with a very strong and mysterious story which makes you wanting Metro 2034 even more! I really recommend this game, as also the graphics are extremely nice.

Graphics are someting to be discussed here. Foremost, this game takes more specifications than any other game I have played on the PC. It supports DX11 and uses very high shader models, extremely high lightning qualities and for the best performance you would need 8GB RAM. Even more, THIS GAME REQUIRES (Optically) NVIDIA CARDS WHICH AREN'T MANUFACTURED YET. The game has higher specifications than Crysis (I tested it myself). On Crysis I can run everything on very high with X4AA, while for Metro 2033 I can only do DX10 And very high with no AA. Anti-aliasing is by far the most demanding option and should really be left off. I find the lightning to be the best I've ever seen in a game, and the graphics, physics and textures etc... are the most detailed to be found in a game.
