Welcome back to tech YES city, here I have the "new z77 extreme4" hehe and this time we have perhaps the best bang for buck z87 motherboard out at the moment (at least in Japan). Another good thing is that this is a full sized ATX motherboard unlike the z77 extreme4, in my opinion MSI took the z77 extreme4 and looked at what made it tick and then did a mario level up on it and released this beast!

*update* - after testing this motherboard it does get my haswell up to 4.8ghz, so definitely is a solid overclocker and highly recommended!

This board comes FEATURE packed and can be had for about $150. This time around I am already starting to think that the most impressive thing with haswell is the motherboards. This motherboard looks amazing and also has a great onboard NIC solution (which after using for a little works amazingling well). I am yet to test the overclocking but will report back when I do.

Now the board comes with 6 sata 3 ports and also 4 usb 3 ports on the back and has the clear CMOS button which is the main reason why I went with this over the z87 extreme4. MSI I believe have hit the money this time around with this board and I will be using it and recommending it (if it overclocks well) in a lot of my future budget builds.

This has a great onboard audio solution and actually after listening to it a bit more it does sound slightly different to the realtek 898. The input is a bit better too (albeit I would still recommend a mic preamp if you were serious about streaming/uploading videos).
