Lisa Gade reviews XP Pen’s latest 22” pen monitor, the Artist 22R Pro. This $699 list price display is top of the line for XP-Pen, and it features fairly wide color gamut, a battery free pressure sensitive pen with tilt support and a single USB-C connection to your Windows or Mac laptop / desktop. It has legacy HDMI and USB-A connections as well, if your computer doesn’t have USB-C. The full HD artist’s monitor comes with a sturdy stand, 2 pens and all required cables. It’s the budget alternative to the Wacom Cintiq 22 and competes directly with the Huion Kamvas Pro 22 (we have reviews of all on our channel). Note that XP-Pen sold out the first run, but they say it will be available again in early Feb. 2020.
