** Level Information **

Reaching the airboat, Black Mesa East lies just up ahead. It's very clear that the Combine will do everything at this point to stop us. As we're still in the city, we only face Metro Cops but they are certainly not to be underestimated especially on Hard Mode.

You'll have to deal with Combine, Choppers, hazardous environments and Tanks on the way. This level is one of the more open-world variants in the first Half-Life 2 title (although nothing compared to Episode Two).

There are a few quirks that can be exploited to advance significantly faster in the level and make your life very easy. I say quirks specifically as they aren't bugs, some of them are intentionally allowed to benefit those who know and explore. You'll see in the video what I mean.
