** Level Information **

It's finally the end of the road, Gordon has arrived at Black Mesa East to work on some new portal technology. We meet Judith Mossman as well as Eli Vance and Vortigaunts have made their way to the facility as well. All seems right, especially when acquiring the long awaited gravity gun, but Combine is sweeping the area, forcing you, Alyx and the newly introduced Dog (or D0g) back into the lab, only to get seperated by rubble that crumbled down due to an explosion.

We were told by Eli that "we shouldn't go to Ravenholm" but his message was cut half-way, making it so that we obviously DO go to Ravenholm. Black Mesa East as a chapter is rather small but yet so important for the Gravity Gun. This new entity will play a vital role in the next chapter and is one of the most unique and versatile weapons in the game. It is also iconical to Half-Life 2 and is one of the concepts that highlighted the Havoc physics within the engine.
