** Level Information **

if you hadn't felt like anything was a challenge, you may finnaly get satisfied with Chapter Twelve because this is the ultimate pinnacle of all the battles. I have always been of the opinion that the final 2 chapters of Half-Life 2 were more ment to be immersive and kind of a 'playground' to explore and understand more about the lore (with the citadel and Breen) rather than being the absolute showdown of all, something which is more common in other FPS shooters. Instead, Half-Life 2 brings you the big moment of truth a bit earlier in "Follow Freeman!" by facing you against striders that can easily kill you with full health and armour in matter of seconds.

The trick here is to lay low as long as possible, learn the timings of when the striders shoot, and when they have a cooldown, use the rocket launcher, and repeat. Make sure to stay away from their legs because it will instantly kill you if they stab you (they will try to stab you on purpose if you stay under them for a long time).

You squad is of little help, and it will take huge amounts of rockets on their side for a strider to die, should they not have died already (most die very early on Hard Mode).
