** Level Information **
Ah... Ravenholm. This is THE level of Half-Life 2. It's not surprising knowing that they choose this level for the demo. It demonstrates incredible level design, gameplay, gruesome sitations, chaos and engaging combat.
If that wasn't enough, the atmosphere is fantastic, the gore is everywhere and on top of that you can toy around with the physics, instantly making you familiar with all of the possible tactics usable with the Gravity Gun.
This is the level that everyone should have played in his/her life. Gordon is forced to travel through Ravenholm, a completely abandoned town by pretty much everyone except father Gregory, a priest who remains there to 'tend to his flock'. It is assumed he was there before the shelling of the town happened and is the only survivor. He knows the people as he constantly remarks on killing zombies in a personal way such as "It wasn't your fault my child" or "Be free my child".
He is willing to help others passing by and is also the first person to give Gordon the shotgun that aids greatly in dispatching the fast zombies.
